Arc offer two main service solutions:

Top-up staff – gives the maximum amount of flexibility to the client as they only pay for hours worked and there is no obligation to use Arc at any point.

Managed service – allows clients to outsource some or all of 1. Recruitment, 2. Staffing, 3. Payroll and/or 4. HR Support operations to Arc. This is charged for using a managed service fee plus the labour cost if applicable. The managed service solution takes more of the hassle away from the client and is often more cost effective than in-house solutions.

Initial contact

Once we’ve learnt of your recruitment need, we will work with you to explore the job specification and requirements. We’ll make sure our teams fully understand your business, your clients and your individual needs.


We can build a tailor-made recruitment plan for any positions you may have. We’ll process candidates through a job-specific application processes that asses their skills, qualifications and motivation for the position.

Candidate training and selection

Suitable candidates will be selected based on their experience, qualifications and motivation for the role. Where necessary, they’ll then be trained to a high industry standard allowing them to feel more than comfortable carrying out the tasks you require.

Client portal

After selecting the right staff for your position, you can be introduced to our client portal app which allows you to book a shift, select the staff you want to work and monitor the shift progress.

Shift booking and feedback

Staff will be booked in for a shift as far in advance as possible via the app, and will be reminded of all relevant shift information, including location, uniform and timings, at regular intervals before the shift. Clients can confidentially rate the staff they receive and request their preferred workers back.

Payment and Invoicing

Our dedicated payroll team means we deal with timesheets, invoices and pay queries quickly and accurately, allowing you to complete post event admin with minimal hassle.

Arc Recruitment was founded by university friends and business partners Mike and Paul during the 2020 pandemic. This became the second Arc in the pair’s portfolio.
Arc Hospitality (sister company) have been recruiting in the hospitality sector since 2008 and are now an established nationwide partner to over 200 organisations.
